About the book
With a whirlwind lifestyle travelling the world, the one thing Jess Millward relies on is Christmas with her gran in cosy Cranberry Cottage. When her grandmother reveals the house is directly in the path of a new high-speed railway, Jess is determined to fight.
Can Jess save the cottage from demolition, or will she have no home to come to this Christmas?
My thoughts on the book
Christmas at Cranberry Cottage is such a sweet little story that warmed my heart and definitely put me in a festive mood.
Talli Roland put so many thoughtful touches to this book, from Jess’ caring relationship with her grandmother to the perfect description of cosy and idyllic Cranberry Cottage. I’d quite fancy living there myself! No wonder Jess is set in stone to save her childhood home from being demolished.
Christmas at Cranberry Cottage is the perfect read for when you might not have too much time on your hands (it took me no longer than 45 minutes from start to finish), but fancy a bit of sparkly Christmas magic.
I’ve mentioned this before, Christmas is by far my most favourite season of the year and I cannot wait to delve into all these beautiful festive reads I have already lined up. I will post a lot more festive book reviews in the coming weeks.
