Me and Mine (November)

I’ve been sorting through our photos the other day and realised that we have hundreds of our little girl (which I absolutely love!), but there are hardly any of all three of us. I’ve recently come across this brilliant linky hosted (among others) by Lucy from Dear Beautiful Boy. Me and Mine is a monthly feature that captures the whole family in one photograph – such a fantastic idea! So here is my first ever Me and Mine post:

November passed by in a blur. I can’t believe we are fast approaching Christmas (my most favourite time of the year!) already. Although the weather over the past few weeks hasn’t been brilliant, we still managed to squeeze in a few trips and excursions (mainly walks, visits to the zoo and a day at the Sealife Centre). We also had a few quieter weekends when we simply relaxed and spent some lovely quality family time together at home. We took these pictures on Sunday when it had finally stopped raining for a few hours. The lighting wasn’t the best, but that didn’t bother us in the slightest – we still had immense fun!

this month our little one loved:

  • playing with her new Shopkins bus (she is currently obsessed with Shopkins related toys)
  • meeting Captain Barnacles at Sealife Centre
  • baking with Mummy
  •  being read her new Mog book (yes, the one from the Sainsbury’s advert) at bedtimes
  • picking up Daddy from the train station in the evenings

this month my husband loved:

  • taking the train to work instead of driving
  • watching cricket on TV (Pakistan v. England Series)
  • family weekends
  • snuggling up on the sofa with me and watching Falling Skies (we never watched this series when it came out and literally marathoned all 5 series these last few weeks)

this month I loved:

  • attending Blogfest
  • being invited by a publisher for some promotional filming for a new book release
  • walking hand in hand with our little one to pick up my husband from the train station in the evenings
  • buying the first Christmas presents
  • watching Falling Skies snuggled up to my husband
