My Captured Moment #17 – Cuddles with Father Christmas

image

Last weekend we took our little girl to see Father Christmas at Drusillas Park. She was looking forward to meeting the Big Man for so long, but when we arrived at his grotto, she was taken aback and extremely shy. Luckily Father Christmas was amazing!!! He was extremely patient, took so much time and made her feel comfortable. In the end we were able to snap some pictures and he even coaxed a broad smile out of her. I am now well and truly in the Christmas spirit and am hugely looking forward to spending some quality time with my family.

Ah bless her, she is a brave little thing. Father Christmas was always a scary prospect for my girls at that age, although the youngest was a bit more confident when she saw the eldest chatting away to him. A lovely picture to look back on xx

I am so grateful that he took so much time to make her feel comfortable. She is still talking about having met Father Christmas even now :-).

Phew! Thank goodness for Santa being so great with kids. Tin Box Tot couldn’t be coaxed into speaking to him at all last December but I have a feeling it will be different this year! #mycapturedmoment

Ah, you can tell by the way Father Christmas is holding Heidi’s hand that he’s enthralled by her excitement. What a wonderful job to go home at the end of the day and know you’ve kept the magic going for a whole bunch of little ones! Amazing and the true spirit of Christmas!!

I really loved that he took so much time and made her feel so comfortable. It took a few minutes before she let go of Daddy’s hand.

How lovely! I was always terrified of Santa, refused to ever visit him. Good for her for over coming the shyness & fear. Merry Christmas!

We luckily live relatively close to Drusilla’s and go there quite often. Our little one LOVES Hello Kitty Land.
