My Captured Moment #23 – Snow (yay!)

image

This week’s My Captured Moment is a picture we took on Sunday. Our little one was so excited when she woke up and realised that it had snowed overnight.  She couldn’t wait to get outside and play. There really was only a sprinkling of snow, but enough to build a little snowman. Unfortunately, it started raining soon after and the snow melted quite quickly. Luckily we did manage to spend a good hour  or so outside, before the lovely snow disappeared. Hopefully there will still be more snow this year. Although I hate driving in snowy conditions, everything looks so beautiful with a dusting of snow – and of course, there are endless play opportunities!

How fab that you had snow Heidi. We had the – temps but no snow (loved the brilliant blue skies and sun after days of grey though!).

Love the expression on LO’s face you’ve captured.

Thanks, Shaz. The blue skies are brilliant (definitely a nice change to the last few weeks), but it has been chilly lately! Thanks for stopping by.

Fabulous photo Heidi, you’re so lucky to have had snow! I’d like to say it’s just the kids who love it but I think I get more excited about it than they do 😀 x

Yes, I agree Kate. I was probably as excited about the snow as our little one was :-). Thanks for stopping by.

We were so disappointed not to have snow this weekend, our youngest sat in the window nearly all Saturday afternoon waiting. I love weekend snow too when you don’t have anywhere to be. A great picture, she looks delighted and a little bit amazed, a lovely moment xx

Thanks Lisa. Although there wasn’t much snow, I was happy that we had least had enough to enjoy a couple of hours in it. Hopefully not the last time this winter.

Hi Heidi, the expression on your daughters face says it all. It’s a shame the snow wasn’t thicker or last longer, but hopefully there will be more sometime this winter.

    xx

Oh, snow day! How lovely. We only had the smallest amount but Little Miss H was so excited. It is lovely to view snow through a child’s eyes. The excitement, the wonder, the endless opportunities for fun. It makes it magical. Your little one really does look thrilled to be in a winter wonderland. Bless her! #MyCapturedMoment. Hugs Lucy xxxx

We only had a sprinkling and luckily we made the most out of it in the morning. By early afternoon it was sadly all gone. Thanks for commenting, Lucy.

Ah Heidi you got some snow!! We really did only get a sprinkling, which looked more like hard frost than actual snow. Your little lady looks in her element bless her. Fingers crossed for more snow soon ; )

Thank you so much for linking up to #MyCapturedMoment xx

Always a pleasure, Heledd! We really didn’t have a lot of snow either, but I wouldn’t mind some more this winter!!
