My Captured Moment #30 – Muddy Walk

image We took these pictures a few weeks ago. We don’t normally like being cooped up in the house at weekends, but after all of us battling with one illness or another and due to the bad weather, we didn’t go outside as much as we would have liked to. However, on that particular day, we decided to brave the rain and ventured outdoors. We went for a walk around this lovely reservoir that is not too far from where we live. As you can see, it was rather muddy there. On the plus side, apart from a few anglers and dog walkers there was hardly anyone about. I kept on saying to my husband and our little girl to be careful that they didn’t fall down – and then this happened… image Yes, it was me that didn’t look where she was going and I ended up taking a rather involuntary mud-bath. Oh well, at least mud is supposed to be good for the skin… My-Captured-Moment-badge unnamed

Oh no! bless you lovely, it has been so muddy lately. I posted a muddy picture on Mother’s Day too. It is typical while you are looking out for everyone else you come a cropper. Roll on spring eh?!? xx

It definitely made me giggle when I wrote the blog post yesterday :-). Yes, a puddle suit sounds like a brilliant idea!

Oh Heidi. Hope you didn’t bruise anything! Couldn’t help a chuckle – not very often we get to let our inner child out for a mud bath 🙂

Haha, no I didn’t hurt myself at all and luckily, because there was no one around apart from my family, I didn’t humiliate myself too much either :-).

That’s so funny! That could have been me! I usually say “be careful” and then it happens to me… It’s karma right? And as you say mud is supposed to be good for the skin!

Hi Heidi, that’s a classic ‘Mummy’ moment! How your little girl and husband aren’t wetting themselves laughing I don’t know. I bet it was fun watching you try to get up too….

On the up side, you pay good money for a mud bath at a spa.

    xx

Oh, you poor thing. I would have done exactly the same thing. But it is still the mum’s role to prevent everyone else from falling in the mud. I love the photographs and it is so important to get out and about even if the weather is rubbish. #MyCapturedMoment Hugs Lucy xxxx
